Ok, so here's what went down. Me and my friend Mizuki-Nami were in health class, and our teacher got talking about pregnancy and what-not. She said that babies don't breath air in the womb, they breath the amniotic fluid, which makes them blue when they are born because they've never had and oxygen before. In fact, some mothers give birth to their babies in tubs of sorts to help their babies adjust to the new world easier, and they would be able to survive underwater for a period of time. (droppin' some knoledge on ya!)sorry, i rarely get to sound smart, so i'm a-milkin' it for all it's worth!

sooooo...Kisame's mom gave birth to him into a body of water of sorts, and just...left him there or something. let's say that she got carried off by a mob of angry beavers (great show! anyone? no...ok). we don't want kisame's mom to be abusive, now do we? we have enough of those in the naruto world, right? so, Kisame lived underwater for the first part of his life and adapted by growing gills, sharp teeth, and he eventually turned blue! yesh, Kisame is a water baby! lol.

this theory seems more logical than the reason explained in my Akastuki truth or dare story [link] but i find both humorous!
